WeCareJax Board Member: Jessica Cummings

Jessica Cummings, MBA, ATC is the Vice President of Community Engagement at Brooks Rehabilitation.

Besides being a board member with WeCareJax since 2020, she also serves as the UNF Alumni Association Board of Directors President, board member for the JAXChamber Health Council, Executive Cabinet member for the Go Red For Women Campaign benefiting the American Heart Association, committee member of the Run For Heroes 5k to Benefit UF Health TraumaOne, member of the Night for Heroes Gala to benefit UF Health TraumaOne committee, Community Leadership Committee for the American Diabetes Association, board member of NextStep Orlando, and is a proud member of member of Leadership Florida Connect 10 class and “The Most Inquisitive Class” of Leadership Jacksonville, 2018.

In 2020, Jessica was named as one of Jacksonville’s 40 Under 40. She was also a 2022 Women with Heart Honoree through Volunteers in Medicine.

What do you like to do in your spare time? 

Spend time around the water coaching middle school swimmers, enjoying the beaches, and trying to keep up with my toddlers.

How did you get involved with WeCareJax? 

After a wonderful meeting with Angela Strain, I wanted to give more to our community and offered to serve.
