Patient Success Story – Rene
Meet Rene, the newest patient in the WeCareJax Cancer Care Cohort.
At the beginning of Rene’s recovery journey, Tatiana, WeCareJax’s Director of Patient Services, invited him to visit our office to ensure that he has all the clinical care and wrap-around support he might need as he moves into treatment. During his care, Tatiana will serve as his primary point of contact with WeCareJax, touching base as he moves through the process.
With the help of donors and supporters in the community, WeCareJax offers all patients in the cohort transportation to appointments, assistance with household maintenance, connection to our partners for those who may be food insecure, and so much more.
Throughout Rene’s visit at the WeCare office, he continued to state how much relief it is knowing that there are folks in Jacksonville who still step up for their neighbors in need.
