Patient Success Story – Marineide
Marineide is a 56-year-old single mother of two grown children. She has two beautiful grandchildren with another one on the way.
Last November, Marineide discovered a mass in her breast and her children took her to a primary care doctor who ordered a mammogram. It was at that time, Marineide heard the dreaded diagnosis of cancer.
Following a circuitous track of referrals to various doctors, Marineide was referred to WeCareJax. As a WeCare patient, she received all the care that she needs – surgery to remove the mass, radiation, and chemotherapy through Mayo/St Vincent’s Cancer Center at Riverside.
Marineide will tell you herself how grateful she is that she found WeCare. She believes she has a chance at life because of the wonderful care she received through the Mayo/St Vincent’s Cancer Center. She plans to live a long time, so she is here for her children and grandchildren. She is grateful to all the doctors who have treated her.
