WeCareJax Board Treasurer: Dr. Steven Nauman

Dr. Steven Nauman is a retired volunteer physician specializing in Cardiology. Even in his retirement, Dr. Nauman still volunteers his time and sees WeCareJax patients at one of WeCareJax’s primary care clinic partner locations.

Dr. Nauman has been an integral part of our WeCareJax board since 2019, serving as the current Board Treasurer and has served on the WeCareJax Strategic Planning workgroup. We are grateful for his continued service to health equity in Duval County!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Swim, walk – try not to get old!!

How did you get involved with WeCareJax?

After I retired, I felt a need to stay active and involved. I joined WeCareJax as a volunteer physician at several of their safety net clinics.

I grew up here and have watched Duval County become more diverse and a more welcoming community.
