Patient Success Story – Gloria
After being diagnosed with invasive Ducal Carcinoma of the right breast (Breast Cancer), Gloria, a 62-year-old wife, and mother, was referred to WeCareJax by the Sulzbacher Clinic. Following the initial consultation, WeCareJax referred Gloria to the award-winning Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center. At Baptist MD Anderson, Gloria underwent breast surgery to remove the malignant mass, followed by chemotherapy treatment. In December, Gloria is scheduled to have her last chemo treatment and her radiation treatment is scheduled to begin in January.
Both Gloria and her family are very thankful and, according to Gloria, she is currently being treated by “the best cancer doctors” in Jacksonville. Gloria remains positive and finds strength in knowing that she is in great hands and will be cancer-free very soon!
